Saving links, filing them by project, searching them and taking them with you are on every plan. What the paid tiers remove is the ceiling — unlimited nesting, unlimited links, and a copy of every page kept so it survives the original going down.

Nesting depthHow deep the tree may go. Unlimited is the product’s central claim, so a paid tier that caps this is worth thinking about twice.

Questions
Is the free plan time-limited?
No. It has ceilings rather than a clock — you can stay on it indefinitely, and nothing you saved becomes unreadable if you stop paying.
What happens to my links if I downgrade?
Nothing is deleted and nothing becomes unreadable. Archived copies you already have stay readable, highlights you already made stay visible, and a public collection link you already shared keeps working until you take it down. What a plan buys is making new ones.
Can I export everything?
Yes, on every plan including the free one. The export is machine-readable JSON that re-imports losslessly, and it is a promise in the privacy policy rather than a feature to price against.
How deep can categories nest?
The schema has no depth limit at all — it is an adjacency list, not a fixed set of columns. Paid plans lift the free tier’s cap entirely, which is the difference that matters if you run more than a couple of projects.
